FAFSA Basics

What is the FAFSA?

FAFSA stands for “Free Application for Federal Student Aid.” This is the form you must complete each school year in order to get financial aid from the federal government, which will help you pay for college. Each year, millions of FAFSA-filing students get a collective $120+ billion in the form of work study, loans, and grants from the US Department of Education. The FAFSA is the form that makes it all happen and makes you eligible for aid.

Making the FAFSA Easy

Has there ever been a form more mysterious than the FAFSA?

A quick Google search on this dense document reveals a total maze of questions, technicalities, and other frustrating details. Some people have even started entire YouTube channels or small businesses devoted to helping students and parents navigate this famously long, dry questionnaire.

But FAFSAQuick is one step ahead of the game. Our platform makes completing your form fast, simple, and painless. Less time spent on the document means more time spent on literally anything else.

What FAFSAQuick Saves You

Spend less time on:

  • Internet research
  • Elaborate FAFSA tutorials and YouTube guides
  • Re-reading unclear FAFSA sections multiple times
  • Triple-checking details and confirming your calculations
  • Fixing previous errors due to inexperience or poor instruction

For most most students and parents, completing the FAFSA takes hours. It’s normal to feel a little like you’re drowning in technical details. This is the biggest reason to use FAFSAQuick: You will save a huge amount of time. FAFSAQuick is designed to get your form filled out to completion—start to finish—in about 15-20 minutes.

Traditional Method vs. FAFSAQuick

The Traditional Method

Concentrated Research

Using the traditional method, your FAFSA will require you to research the optimal strategies for completing the form and receiving maximum financial aid. This can be an intensive process.

Sleight of Hand

FAFSA gurus make a living (or enjoy a decent side hustle) teaching students and parents the complex inner workings of the FAFSA. They’ve got tips and tricks that work, but this will cost you time to learn—maybe even money.

Time-Consuming

The FAFSA simply takes time to complete on your own. You could be a parent sending your 3rd kid off to college – it doesn’t matter. Traditionally, the FAFSA is a real sit-down, buckle-down slog to the end.

The FAFSAQuick Method

Bare-Minimum Effort

FAFSAQuick has been designed to profoundly minimize time spent researching the nitty gritty. Save yourself many hours spent in front of a screen, digging through online FAFSA resources and organizing multiple open tabs in your browser just to keep track of all the information.

Less to Keep Track of

From income tax and financial info to dependency and demographics, FAFSAQuick makes it easy to manage your personal data for simple integration with the form.

It’s FAST!

Did we mention how much time you save by using FAFSAQuick? This is a free application that saves you literal hours of time punching numbers into a form. If there’s a downside here, we haven’t found it.
